i want to update my profile pic, so i decided to make a section to show more pics of my dad's hobby shop from the 80's. one of my initial goals was to collect up all the things that were visible behind my dad in my profile pic. i've covered all the items now, at least all the tamiya ones...and a few others as well. particularly the cox stealth plane. the glow planes were a thing for my dad because he had flown them (control line) with his dad when he was a kid.

Soooo, apparently my question on the characters in the photos got some raised eyebrows, so I should get answers offline or just in the PC mode. There is one burning question I am sure everyone deserves to know the answer to, Just how many Whoppers must one eat to get the 'presentation grade' Burger King crown???

Great bit of RC history there . LHS still has same man behind counter after 30+ years here . Remember going in as a kid and seeing shelves stacked with Tamiya rc cars . Got my 1st Grashopper from him in 84 and got my 2010 hb from him other day

crash - reminds me of one of my favorite tom petty songs. MC hammerstien - that's awesome. it's sadly such a dying breed in these days of video games and ipads. it's up to us to keep the spirit alive!

Yep it is up to us to keep the hobby alive . But the amount of kids and dads that stop when I'm at my local bashing spot and just watch and talk about when they were into the hobby. So now lend out a Grasshopper if they want a go
