Here is my last Nib buy, the Aero Avante DF02 from Stella that comes with bonus parts (bearings) and Teu-105BK ESC. To honor is brother the Avante MKI, i ordered a lot of alloy parts from GPM ( arms, steering, rods, wheel hubs, knuckle arms, tower shocks, motor mount, carbon shaft, etc...), the new UGT 24T Tamiya Motor & the Avante Hi-cap dampers . The built were a pleasure, so easy & fast. Now i have to do the body (box art). i will adapt the Ansmann Twist wheels on it because i think they will fit perfectly with the look of the body. Cheers.

Wow, that is very cool looking, the wheels look like they were made just for this car. It is also nice to see the SQUARE SPIKE tires make a return. Are you contemplating removing the chrome from the wheels and painting them up in silver to perhaps go better with your additions?

First DF02 Avante listed on TC! Chassis looks great with all the hopups. What about yellow for the wheels like the other Avantes?

I just had a thought, does somebody make a Yellow Chrome paint??? Or perhaps you can leave the chrome on the wheels and paint some near transparent yellow on there and it will appear to be yellow chrome??? Just my mind spinning.

Great looking build. I've just picked up one these kits today. Interesting to see the hop ups you've fitted. I'm not going to alter anything other than the ESC/Motor. I've bought a Etronix Photon 10T brushless combo to fit in mine. I'm sticking with the stock wheels, but like you, not sure what colour to paint them. The choice is either white (which I have to hand) or yellow. Depends on what works best with the stickers. The original Avante (of which this model shares only the name and rough body shape) was blue and yellow. It would be good to see if there was some way of getting close to that colour scheme. I'll post some picks once the build is underway, I've got a 2007 WRC bodyshell to paint first for my TT-01 and XV-01 chassis....
