Another piece to the puzzle....
Iv'e had this motor for quite a while and recently had it on ebay but it didn't sell and i am really pleased about that as it is the hop-up motor for 2wd buggies for back in the day and i will now use it for my Frog project.
It is a nib RX-540 SD Technituned motor. These motor's seem to be quite rare, more so than the other hop-up motors as they hardly ever appear unlike many of the others. Very happy now to still have it with me.
Thanks to all for looking and for any comments.

Sweet! I have one of these in my FAV
kontemax
This was the Supershot motor if I remember well...

Nice motor, I'd keep it boxed

Very rare indeed. Did you have a BIN price on ebay? I don't remember seeing it.

Nice. I like this series. Technipower and Technigold are my favourite motors (still). The Technituned being the less potent of the three (TG, TP, TT) I recommend you to solder the 'pigtails' as mentioned as an option in the manual.
It's worthwhile to get that little extra punch. Enjoy!

Thank you for all your nice comments guys!
kontemax the Supershot actually came with the Technipower motor not the Technituned.
Sheriff these do seem to be very rare unlike the Technigold which seems to appear pretty often. The motor was listed with a starting price.
mongoose1983 your FAV must be very quick.
Jorisschulte you are right, it is the less potent of the 3 motors but is probably the best one to use for the 2wd buggies. Will definitely solder the 'pigtails' if it means getting a little extra punch.
andyalarto it is a very nice motor but will be hard to keep this one boxed...
Thanks again guys, always appreciate your comments, opinions and input!

@ Kontemax, the Supershot had the Technipower motor

very nice motor and yep we all know by modern standards these oldies are slow but to me having a period correct motor is essential for the look on the old cars..... very nice and maybe a very good thing it did not sell after all ? regards hot rod

Aaah so it's your Technituned motor! I saw this on eBay and was on my watch list - A very nice NIB T'Tuned motor indeed and very rare.
ModifiedMan
Cheers Sunny! Yes it is a very nice one in mint condition as though it just came out of the factory. The actual box is not mint but still in very good condition and yes, these motors seem to be very rare.
