I've wanted a good quality one of these for a while now, I did buy one a year or 2 ago but it had heavy gravel rash and a lot of damage so I didn't keep it. This one has the side window bars, shell lugs underneath and there is no damage to the wing tips or rear tailgate mounts. I am delighted with it. It will need a bumper and a little tinkering with and that suits me perfectly, I couldn't bring myself to use it so it will be for display purposes only. The wheels and tyres look brand new, so I'm guessing that they are re re? I know that for some of you display only would seem a waste and I totally get that, I just wouldn't want to be the one who breaks it first.

People have tended to use rere Brat wheels on their Ranger restores. Ranger fronts are deeper than Brat fronts so that'd be a good way to deduce whether the wheels are new. Hard to tell from the photo but they do look very white. Looks like a great Ranger and the grille mounts are in place which is a big plus.

Very nice mate. I have a spare bumper collecting dust and the icing on the cake would be having the tyres painted. (SRB Bloke is the man for that). Would love to see some outdoor pics showing the models in their natural enviroment lol.

Thanks for the comments guys. Its a real 80's shape, boxy and square. I'll have a good look at the wheels and see if I can work out what they are. I will add the right vintage bumper some time soon! I will have to brave some external shots soon won't I??

That looks very cool.

I've found a Vintage bumper to complete the look now, so it is probably just period wheels to finish it off.
