Another eBay win - another dusty wreck !

I have really got to stop pushing the bid button on eBay but this looked worthy of another overpriced percymon rebuild and restoration :(

I wasn't even interested in the Boomerang three months ago, but after the Super Sabre was saved from the bin (90% completed now) I realised I actually had a fair few parts that hadn' t been consumed, so why not use them up on another hotshot series car ?!?

This was the only eBay auction photo, so i wasn't expecting a lot for my money - first glance this morning says its dusty and dirty but the chassis tub looks intact which is a better start point than i had with the 'Sabre !

So new blue sprues are on order, along with propshaft, Re-re body, D parts, chassis cover and decals. Driver figure and gearset arrived yesterday, and screw bag and bearings were ordered this morning. Should have almost all the parts delivered within a week or so. Have a dirt tuned and a RZ motor sitting in the spares box, so one of those will suffice to get this baby running again.
