As some of you might know I am a big fan of 1:8 on-road cars, and asspecially the rare models like Parsec Sigma and Picco Genesis from the nineties when I raced them. When I heard of the SMP Slide from 2004 and saw the pictures on Google I just had to have one (or two, or three :) ) Found one on a local trading site and immediately bought it for a very good price! This car competed in the top of the Dutch Championship. The second one without the body I found on a Swiss local trading site and I contacted the seller. He proofed to be a real gentlemen, and we make a nice deal; Thanks Peter!! It did take some effort, but now I own two of these ultra rare machines!

Twin Brothers like I like to have them! Swiss car bought in Switzerland Local find here in the Netherlands 3 Together again...... Chromed machined alloy parts SWISS MADE!

Beautiful. I had the chance to buy a Slide way back when i ran a Vector, passed it up like a fool. Id love one to display these days, a work of art, the brake linkage machining gives me goosebumps lol.

Nice Duo mate and having seen them race in anger in the 90's are super quick machines!

I used to import & sell this car in Norway, sure was the car to beat when it came in 1999!

Looks like a sweet specimen you got there!

If anyone are after more like this, I know a couple of guys who still have their cars...

I remember seeing the review for the Slide in one of my rc magazines shortly after purchasing a Mugen mrx 3. I also love the 1:8 on-road cars. Amazingly quick, high speed cornering and they stick to tarmac like glue. Lovely pair of Slide's you have purchased and both look to be in great condition. Enjoy!
