This is my second Tamiya model after my Hornet that I had for Christmas 1985. It has not run since about 1988 but saw a lot of action! and is 1 of 3 cars I have had since the 80s and would not part with, the others being my restored Hornet and Falcon which I will list next. Im trying to get my whole collection in my show room so stay with me!. Back to this Frog. It was suffereing from slipping gears when I last used it and the chassis needs work but luckily I bought a 2nd body which is the one you see. It is in very good condition and means the car is displayable. I did this body in 1986 so its stripes are not as good as I would do now but it adds to its charm and I would not change it. hope you like it

cool old classic wheels to match my restored Hornet chassis needs restoration. That motor was fast! Original body painted in 1986 -My original 3 Tamiya classics Ive had from new

Great to see you still have your original cars from the 80's buddy Your painting skills were better than mine back then. And agree, the wheels somehow make it more aggressive looking . Wish I had kept some of my cars from back in the day . Top collection you have there fella. Cheers Paul

Thanks for your comments. I will do some light work on this one day. The front end needs work as its sloppy and missing its control rods and as its never been stripped down am tempted to leave well alone. I doubt ill ever run it and if I do will use an ESC which will be less stress on the gear box because you cant just go straight in to reverse. I will photograph my Falcon next.

That's a real classic!.. The way they should look like... they were made to be used, and abused, great to hear that they are your original as well... have my Lancia, HS and Fox since the days love to just look at them, they have been through so many things.. Lovely cars you have there!!..
