Hi everyone, this is my new built Golf. This is the second M-05 chassis I have owned. I bought my first one shortly after the M-05 chassis was released but I didn't keep it for very long. I've been wanting to get another one for a while now and when I read Tamiya was releasing this little gem I was prompted to act. I found some after market parts for the chassis going cheap, so I bought them. I've used hex screws for most of the car, the car also has a ball diff and the shocks are TRF items from my original M-05.

I have just nabbed one of these as, incredibly, they have been discontinued already after only a 6 week availability window! You did a great job on the painting....was it difficult to do?

Thanks again everybody. Hi Wandy, thats sad news that these are discontinued already as they are a very striking model, I sure Tamiya would sell heaps of them. The paint job was a bit of a challenge for me and I made quite a few mistakes. I was going to make this one a runner and get another body set when they came out, but maybe this should stay on the shelf for the moment.

Thanks mates. Hi T5Films, the car would certainly look better with some hot wire style wheels, but these are still some good looking rims .

Cool car and paintjob, love those colors. I think that those wheels look better in white with that color combination!
