Pretty cool Truck
This is my RC4WD Trail Finder 2. I wanted the Bruiser re-re but didn't have the funds. And I did have my eye on this truck, so I decided to to get it. And it is a very nice and well built model. Everything went together real good. Did have an issue with the box being warped very badly, I took some pics sent them to RC4WD and 2 days later I had a new one in the mailbox. The new one was perfect as was RC4WD service. The truck is almost all metal for exceptions, bumpers, and bumper mounts are plastic. And kinda odd the drive shafts are plastic as well. I had a couple new drive shafts from one my Tamiya High Lifts so I used them. And I also replaced the stock shackles with Junfac shackles. And for paint I didnt really have any ideas so I did this Ivan Stewart thing.

Nice desert racer! I think I've seen Wyo painting trucks like yours, à la Ivan Stewart.

I love the paint job on this and it suits the Hilux body well.

This a really nice looking truck and I like the livery a lot. Just looks like the real deal. I'll be really interested to know how you get on with it. If its good I'll have to get saving!

Great paint There bud it's always hard to come up with something original. I'm just going through the process of fitting lights in mine for a bit of night driving. Still weighting on a few bits to finish it off, should be fun!
