My partner and I recently had a chance to get away to the east coast for a few days and I was lucky enough to be able to pack a few toys for the trip! This is my recently restored '79 Sand Scorcher. It's a genuine Mk1 with the double bearing rear end and screw-in stops for the front springs. Stoopidly I forgot to take any before pics but it was in fairly decent condition..The body was re-done in alternate box-art and then finished with a matt clearcoat. Chassis-wise it uses one of my own alloy plate chassis with modified steering. Needless to say this one is a VERY careful runner!!

Wow! Nice scorcher and you're running the original body too, you're brave I saw the price they were going for and stopped running mine. The action shots are awesome! Cheers Marcus

That's a very tasty Scorcher. A really top, order model as well and I really like the gold wheels as well, are they painted or supplied with that finish? Good photos too, proper Scorcher territory.

Wow. That looks fantastic. I normally prefer the blue version but this is spot on and in the correct environment. I really like the wheel colour too. Very nicely detailed body.

Awesome presentation as usual Jeremy. The matt clear certainly gives it that kewl aged authentic appearance. Nice to see that you run it and let's see a few more pics please.
