I got two of these in the Modelzone sale and sold one and kept one. The Midnight Pumpkin was a model that never interested me in the past until i got one of these re-release one's and after examining it, i must say that it has grown on me. :)
I am very happy that i have now kept one and i am looking forward to building it once i have got a few upgrades.

These look a lot better in the flesh... then in photos or on the PC I think! I have never had one! but did have a Lunch box in the 80s and my mate had a pumpkin and to me his always looked a lot cooler then my LB!! I must get a pumpkin one day! enjoy the build and it will be a hoot to run! now that's what the Pumpkin & LB do have in common!! both Big Fun!!
What upgrades are you considering?
Cheers MAD-BEE

I think that's why i never liked them and as you say, they look so much better in the flesh MB. Hope you do get one and it will look great alongside your LB.
I'm sure that i'll enjoy the build and the few upgrades that i will be getting will be full bearings, CVA short shock set and a faster motor. Would also like to add some lights but not sure yet.
Cheers, Sagar

Thanks gravetxt-1! I have grown to like this a lot since having it and never thought i would buy one but glad i did.
I think Cva's are a must have performance wise and like you say, they will look much cooler.

I agree with MAD-BEE that the Midnight Pumpkin looks cooler in person and that name so classic! Nice buy mate

Great value these when Modelzone were selling them off, I was too slow to get one! I'm sure it will be a fun build and a great one to run.

Cheers GP! Yes it was an amazing deal at 40 quid and sorry to hear that you missed out my friend.
Definitely should be a fun build and i will be giving the Shell the full treatment...paint, clear coat and polishing compound. Oh yes...and some led's so should look great when finished.
