Found this one at a local trading site. It was listed as a Kyosho Lancia 202, which it wasn't. The seller had been noticed about his mistake, but didn't add any information about the change. Think it was due to the wrong listing I got it for 110 euro ink shipping. There were a working charger, remote and battery as well. So quite a good find I guess. The only bad things about it is a small crack in the front window, missing bumper, missing the two blind headlights and a broken rear swing, the window and swing I have as spares for my very old runner. In some way I think I will make a new bumper, or go with with a white one I have on my runner. This one will be restored to as good as I'm able to do it. Sometimes you just feel lucky, the car have probably been spending the past 29 years in a box, as it is very little wear on it. I guess the previous owner put it there when the swing cracked. All I have to figure out now is how to get the wheels white again, or if I should paint the same white as the body will be??
As always comments are most welcome!!.. :)

Nice looking model... End of drivingtime that looooong ago... The pattern almost as sharp as it was new... The belly of the beauty... Hardly no scratches...

Hi Alonien. Nice find,i have two of these that i am restoring. I would leave the wheels as they are,i love the yellow faded look you get from vintage plastics. If you start replacing every thing with new,or trying to make like new,you may as well buy a re-release. Looks good in that colour, ive not seen that before.

Didn't someone have a HOW TO Tutorial on bleaching those old wheels?? Very cool find and different in blue.

Thanks for the comments! @junkmunki in a way I agree with you that things shouldn't change to much, but as I have kept my original Lancia I got in '84 like I used to drive it, with all fixes and cracks, now I wanted to have one for the shelf. I think it is a very cool looking car, always loved it. Were a bit sad when Lancia stopped with the rally cars. @Crash I think I have read a HOW TO somewhere too, just can't remember where. And yes different in blue, but the paint isn't stuck that good, easy too peel off. So I will go for the 'boring' white. Were very pleased to find one in such good condition.

Finally found it, the tip is from Ben in the DFW area, so I hope you can find some sunlight where you live as it is a needed ingredient.

Thanks a lot Crash!!... sunlight might be a problem, it has been up for the past three weeks, but now it seems like rain is all there is left. But I'll hope for a better day, or maybe as all it needs is UV light, the tanning bed might work? I'll have a go on that if the sun decides to stay above the clouds. Thanks again mate!!..

Careful on that tanning bed, could get some cancer? I might have to try that trick myself, have some Blazing Star wheels here that look ugly.
