Slow progress on the beastie

It now has a load bed (with opening tailgate), rear lights and detailing around the rear of the truck, passenger side tool boxes and probably other bits I've forgotten to mention!

The weight of the bed (and load) means that I've had to make some changes to the suspension. All four rear shocks are now mounted upright and I used a Traxxas Revo stabiliser set to add stabiliser bars to each axle. Articulation is still reasonable but body control is much better. Last pic shows body propped for battery access, it's not a tipper :)

Cheers,
Rob

This is such an impressive build, it looks
like it could be out there in the desert doing its thing right now.

Steve's comment about the 'speed' of this build made me laugh - it's only taken 8 months so far!!
