OK, so it has been 9 months in the making. I would like to thank everyone that has put up with my numerous updates and posted all the fantastic comments, it was thanks to you, and my extremely understanding wife that I have been able to finally get this finished.

Big thanks also have to go out to the following:

Matthias - Kokuzu.

James - Beetlelover.

Daniel Cockersell.

Patrick Hanenberger.

Jeremy - Delux.

Joe - Volksrod.

That said these types of projects are never truly done and I already have ideas for changes. But this is it until I get it down to the beach for some poser shots and then a little action in the surf.

Comments as always are greatly appreciated, thanks again guys & gals.

Simply superb, and definitely the way Tamiya should have done the Sand Rover...at least second time around when they had the chance. And cudos to you for hanging in there and finishing this huge project. Well done sir!

I'm excited! I was just thinking how many gear boxs and front ends I'm going to need to make each version with each of the option parts!! bring it on.

For such a well established company, this is what Tamiya should release as 'Special Editions', not just adding a different coloured body......Excellent looking machine and craftsmanship!!

Well done mate! You've worked so hard on this and it shows. This is brilliant. To me the best ever custom build on here. Looks so true to life and very old school. And you've kept us lot eagarly waiting along the way for the next update. I even showed my dad some of the posts along the way and he thinks its amazing as well. I would be very proud to own one of these myself. And even prouder if I decided to get it out in the sand where it belongs. Once again, truely outstanding work, well done. Thanks Marcus

That has to be the best scale build on TC to-date. AS far as setting the bar for using 3D printers, then you are clearly blazing a trail! Outstanding

I only can say thank you for this project, which really showed the future of scale builds here! This buggy is so cool, and I hope I´ll have the opportunity to get one of your kits. After 9 months of fantastic build pics, I know what my collection is missing: A true scale Meyers Manx in 70´s style...
