Let's get this off my chest. I hate 'SRB Bloke' 'Stickerbod' & 'JWeston'. Why can't we just have normal looking models for the event with a numbered decal lol. I've just been doing bits and bobs on this model over the weeks. As you know I hate painting shells and thought I'll just go for a 'Top Force' livery as had the decal sheet spare. After seeing the boys modified models I had to turn it up a gear. So went for one of my favourite livery's again and love how its come out. I had a go of painting tyres with a large wooden kebab stick and by the end of it, refused to do the letter 'A' on the rear tyres hence 'Tamiya' not being painted lol. It's a shame the Sand Rover does not fit the RC4wd trailer although the Re-Release Scorcher is a perfect fit and compliments the TF2. Looking forward to meeting all the guys going to the event next week and will be at the Travellodge for a beer on the Saturday. Just got to pull my finger out and fit electrics.

Comments Welcome.

I hate painting tyres The perfect fit Not good enough : (

Bring it on Barry, loving your work. I'd have to parachute in James Bond style to compete with this. Our leaving pics might not look so good.

Quality bit of kit Barry. You've turned it up a notch or two over the last few weeks. I'll get there one day!

Barry, I feel your pain! Like you I to have been feverishly working on a creation for the event, in order to compete with the stiff creative competition. The fact that my 9 yr old son will be driving the car and that it is highly likely to get wrecked seems to have been largely ignored by myself as I push on regardless LOL Will post pics ASAP. Yours looks great and looking forward to meeting you on the day. John

Thanks for the comments. LOL @ SRB Bloke. 5 Hilux's is a feat in itself Simon. I've wanted a Trailer for ages but there is just nothing decent out there so had to give in and get the RC4wd one. Tell me about it John. I've knocked over 2 pots of paint doing the tyres and was having trouble gluing the arms on. Suddenly realised I had not attached the inner arms. Hence why they are white. Doh

Very nice, the paintjob suits it really well - clean and fresh but still eye-catching. Love the roll bar too. Top job!

Thanks again for the comments. I'm gutted you can't come 'Stickerbod' after all that hard work you put into yours. I always find the best medicine is to stay busy or go racing with mates ; )
I doubt I will be in the same heat as 'SRB Bloke' after he scored himself a low 1 out of 10 for talent. Dream on have you seen him drive the EXO lol. I think your always onto a winner with a white unpainted shell and the Toyota Monster Racer decals. Only paint is the front spots, Driver, Rear lights and Tyres. Ooops and the Roll bar clamps.

Cheeky Baz, I'm good in an open space, but have never tried to drive between two lines. Scary but fun

You've made a nice job of this one Baz Now you're guilty of making my body preparation efforts look bad!

Me too SG it's going to be epic. LOL @ Steve driving between 2 lines. Spike I had so many designs going through my head with different liveries from other models. The other one I was toying with was a black shell and the Blitzer Beetle droplets or hand painted flames on the bonnet.
