Another cheap solution. This time I'm dealing with the broken rear cage of a Rough Rider chassis.
As always, my solutions will rarely be useful for shelfers and the serious collector, but if you just want to keep that old dog still running and working properly, then here's some idea for you guys. You just need a chip of an aluminum profile part. Then cut a pair of L-shaped washers to keep the lower mounts of the rear cage in place.
These things will not work with mounts broken on the lower part of the mounting part, but if your cage is broken the same way as mine then you can be sure this solution is permanent and will take some serious abuse to break the cage any more.
So that's it. Hope this will be of help to anybody wanting to save some $$ and keep enjoying running their buggies on dirt tracks or anywhere!
You all have a good Thursday! :)

Ever been through this? Alu chip to the rescue! See? Not bad.
