This is another one of my projects that has a few hop ups, it has a 3 stage pearl coat and a set of very nice SEES billet wheels!

This looks really good, a nice twist on a classic. Good colour choice as well.

thanks for the comments and i am glad you al like it, its taken a while and i have tried a few different things before i got here, but it was made to be used and it its does, but i do have a spare set of wheels incase i take it off road with my son, Gripper, it has the original gears but the final drive is fixed and has throp drive shafts, the motor is 15T and runs off an MSC although after prolonged use it does get a little warm, i also have use either 2.4ghz or the old faithful acoms APP277, i prefer the vintage stuff but its all preference. i tried to keep the 80's style with the brown colour but give it an up to date feel, it is great fun to use but as with all old stuff does need a little up keep from time to time. keep your eyes open as i have a few more to put up and i hope they will get the juices going for all who like the old school stuff, thanks to all for your comments, please keep them coming and if i can help any one please ask.

Now that is a one of a kind MB. Very cool mixture of hopups, looks like most of a CRP brace/cage mixed with some alloy front shock tower supports and I can't say I have EVER seen a rear bumper/guard like that one. Cool root beer and cream color scheme, almost didn't see the subtle cream color until I looked twice at the photos. Nicely done and to hear it is a runner, well that is a bonus, enjoy.

Retro and modern at the same time! Nice mods on this classic. Like the rear view mirrors, too. Looks like the legendary Talbot- versions.

good spot crash cramer, indeed it is a CRP brace, i have one on my shelf queen but i wanted to get a better angle on the rear shocks to make it a little more responsive, the rear shocks have duel spring which give it enough travel over small bumps but for those larger jumps the second stiffer spring comes in and stops the shock reaching the end of its travel and bottoming out. the front tower suports are a home made thing out of some parts i had in the shed but they are very strong, i have also put them on other models i have. the mirros are alloy and i think give it a little added detail. Thanks Again,

I missed those mirrors on the first go round, who makes them as they look just right for a BMW 2002 build I want to do.

the mirrors were a chance find and came with a some spares I picked up of eBay so I am afraid I cant help with who made them or where you could pick up another set, shame as I would also like another set as they are very well made and made of aluminium, sorry,
