Kyosho attempting Re-Re?
Been keen on one of these since they were released but the price put me off, until recently visiting Japan and finding it for a very reasonable price. Even bought the Hop Up motor for it ;) Have installed the motor and filled the shocks with oil, now just need some AAA batteries to give it a run in the house, quite a high quality little model given its size, with full options and hop ups available.

I too have been looking at these , but the price was to high . So what do you think about it ? & after you run it in side of course ..

Hey matman, just installed some lithium AAA's, and with the hop-up motor it is quite quick for such a little car, it is really a great little car with plenty of options available, it even has fully functioning diffs, I'm pretty impressed to be honest

As good as the losi mini T , or the associated rc18 ? . I'm very keen , but it's about the bang for the buck , as the price . I have the two above . Maybe i may just get the car only & put it with my optima 1:10th ... If i can get that finished hehe .
Thanks for the update on this .

i've wanted one of these - and the bigger version - but $140 seems really steep for something that's what... 1/32 scale?
is it really worth it? legitimately curious.

@beefmuffin, yeah I agree on the price, I was lucky enough to get it a bit cheaper, it's actually 1/24 scale. The other cost factor I believe would be the ASF 2.4 ghz technology which is made by KO Propo (not cheap by any stretch).

That is a cool looker and the package helps to keep the dust off when in storage. I think I would like to see if Kyosho won't make a few other of their cars in this format before I commit to one.

Yeah at this stage I've only seen a ZX5 (which my mate bought in Japan at the same time), Interestingly though, you could get either with an unfinished body also, ready for your own paint scheme, pretty cool IMO.
