Nice ebay find from the US. Bought for USD 148 incl. shipping back in november 2007.

Cleaned it up and bought new belt covers and bodyshell/wing from Team Bluegroove in 2013.

It's standard except for XLS wheels and it's widened in the rear (common mod back in the day, some also widened the front).

As I kid I was not actively racing when these bad boys ruled. But it'd been outside my budget limit anyway. What I remember most was the cool aggressive look and those breakaway front arms (with rubber bands) :-)

Thx for looking! :-)

Sold to a good friend and CAT maniac, David 'Pensel' Hauer', autumn 2013 for NOK 1500. It'll be a perfect home for it with lots of other CATs to play with :-)

Mean machine for sure! :-) The shell it came with. Plus nice manual ++

Very nice! The crashback arms are great - The front wishbones on my Procat are still original as a result.

Fairly sure I was using those tires on my HotShot to hook up onto the indoor clay oval I raced on back in those days. Breakaway front end??? Show us please.

Really awesome....after receiving my '80's YZ-10, I really see the appeal of these vintage 4WD race machines. Love it!

Stunning! One of my favourite all time buggies - when I started out racing these were THE cars to own & there were quite a few racing at my local club - although not surprising given the proximity to the Schumacher factory! Great inspiration for my up-coming ProCat project!

Wow, that is interesting, I might have seen one BITD, but didn't realize it. I like the idea, should be used more often. ARE YOU LISTENING TAMIYA???? To think, Cecil Schumacher, now THAT is a driver's name if I ever heard one.
