Finished this today. Bought it a few weeks ago as the styling really caught my eye - its a bit quirky and looks fun. First model I've actually built & completed in ages - yesterday was dry and the air was still so I painted up the body in the garden under a small canopy by my shed. Went for the yellow WR-02 CVA damper set, optional white chassis & orange chassis frame parts to make it all a bit different from standard - think they work quite well. Painted in box-art colours as I had some tins of PS-25 in my collection, backed in PS-5 black & a quick spray of PS-31 smoke to tint the cab windows. I also used the wider front bumper as I think it will provide more protection - I may add some lead weights to it if the wheelie action proves too lively ! Painted the driver figure a couple of weeks ago - found that really enjoyable as I've not done much in the way of detailed model painting in quite some time.
Hope you like it.
The brown cloth in the pics is supposed to look like a ploughed field for added realism :-)

Looks fab , really like the contrast with the white and orange chassis parts.

@ Percymon : I noticed the different coloured chassis parts on ebay and they are quite reasonably priced so thought I'd have a play around with the different colour choices and settled on the white & orange. Think it looks better than all in black.

I must confess, when i first saw these released i thought Mr T had been giving his designers something extra to drink, but after seeing one run at a meet a few weeks ago ive totally changed my mind, might even get one.

I love these after seeing the yellow one on JWeston's Iconic page. Will be awesome if we can have a heat for these at the next DT-02 event

The smoked glass and the orange and white makes all the difference to the overall look. It really works visually very well now.

Really nice job! The pastel colour combo is very striking. 1st time I saw these machines I thought, what was Tamiya up to? But after watching the Farm King cup races I now truly understand - Tamiya has always been about fun fun family fun!

Great looking Farm King, hows this still going?

@ taffer - still looks the same as have not really used it, boxed up somewhere in the attic as have been busy doing up the house. @ sunnyjai - paint only looks pastel in the pics - probably camera flash, actually it is quite a bright green - similar I think to John Deere green.
