Chrome Edition - SOLD
Well at last i finally got this Chrome edition finished. This was a long time in the making as i have kept as much as possible vintage and tried to get as new/unused as possible, obviously the chassis is the silver chrome brat one, the shell is a gold chrome sand scorcher shell (hence no spotlights) but everything else is vintage and MB, i decided to go with the original decals/colours one to stay vintage and i also think that those colours suit the shell more, some are used parts but in good condition, this car ended up costing quite a bit to put together but i think its worth it. comments always welcome

Looks good another well turned out model by you.
The gold shell really works very well with the gold wheels.

Under what rock was I hiding when you posted this???
This is awesome work and who needs spots that get washed out by the big bumper?? If you get lucky, you might find someone selling CCP chromed parts from back in the day and find a bumper and servo cover for the final touches.
THIS would look very cool alongside my Chrome MudBlaster, now we need a bronzed Blackfoot for the final mix.

Well Chris i have managed to get hold of a gold chrome chassis and a silver chrome sand scorcher body so my plan is to make a complete gold one and a complete silver one, i have also sourced some alloy silver wheels but im still on the lookout for the tamiya plastic silver chrome ones, i will now look for the parts you mentioned as i had no idea anyone made those, i have also bought every hopup i can find on ebay for this chassis to make a tough runner beetle, i cant wait to get that one started never mind finished

I love it. Gorgeous. I think you should paint up your rear lights though. Awesome job, well done.
