I have put new tyres on, and got the wheels anodized in black. I have also added some RC4WD mini wideners.
I'm not sure I will keep the New Era wheelie bar, it doesn't look very realistic. and I will probably make the steering BTA at the back when I can afford another one of the small savox servo I have at the front.
If everything goes to plan, work will start on the final body early January and it's going to be VERY special!

This looks like a really mad piece of kit. I think the wheelie bars looks ok as well.

Looks special already! Looking forward to seeing the final body. Just wondering how did you mount the imex dualies on txt wheels I thought they will only mount on imex wheels? Alex

@gravetxt-1 the tyres come with special chrome clod wheels which are the same size roughly as the txt wheels. Just they have a 'lining?' in the center that actually separates the tyres. I glued mine to eachother and it was tricky to get them centered on one another

Apart from the twin tyres on each axle it actually looks very very close to a proper Monster Jam truck. Love the wheels, stance and general look though = AWESOME !!!
May I ask what size are these, height and length roughly? As I am sure pics don't do it justice.

Thanks, my aim is to make it look as close to a real truck as I can. I saw some real ones with duallies but it is unusual I agree. Size wise, it's BIG!
I'll measure tonight but I think this is one of the biggest Tamiya kit
