R/C Car Life Imitating Art
Here it is, my brand new Egress 2013 all built except for electrics. In my 20 years of R/C Car Buggies this is my first box art finish. On other models I've varied colours etc, but this time I thought if any buggy deserved box art, it was this one!.
I'm very pleased I went with the box art finish instead of trying to replicate the colours of my 1989 Egress of 20 years ago. Some things are better off left in the past!
The colour is PS-41 Bright Silver (as per the instructions) for the Egress 2013, which is different to the original Egress PS-12 Silver. For the windows I used the window stickers for masking and used smoke to give the window tinted effect and backed the entire inside of the body (except the windows) with with Black.
Not sure whether to run a brushed or brushless set up in this car as yet? Mmmm... Enjoy!

Thanks for the great comments! yes I intend to race this car at Vintage meets. We have two Classes - stock (silver can mabuchi) or open (anything goes brushed or brushless)!
I'm thinking of going brushless with this one, being a 2013 car, it can get the modern treatment. Thus I can run the Top Force in 540 Vintage as it all ready set up with the appropriate ESC etc.
I also wish to source another body and paint it up TRF style for racing. Therefore this body can remain untouched for display.

E-Bay , samurai-japan-2009 has them for $69.50 that's with stickers and all . So far he is the only one that has them . Great Ebayer etc & has other stuff as well , I run a BL on my old runner Egress & that was fine , so this will handel it well . Hope you have fun & would like too see the new Body painted .

Did Team Blue Groove make the Egress body?? If you are going to crash and bash, their body ought to handle the task.

I'll check them out (TBG). I also have a new Avante 2001 (Tamiya) body for the Egress. I think I'm going to do it box art as well, since this one turn out so well!
