My Runner Pumpkin!
This is my runner Midnight Pumpkin. This model was originally purchased in 2004 when I was stationed in Saudi Arabia with the US Army.
We had an R/C Racing club on post that raced every Friday night. The Lieutenant Colonel who ran the races had 10 Pumpkins, Airtronics Blazer Sport radios, batteries and chargers that were graciously donated by Tower Hobbies. Each truck sported a NASCAR color scheme to easily pick out the trucks during the race (plus the LTC was from Tennessee!). I ended up purchasing my own truck with Terry Labonte's #5 graphics.
My Pumpkin is equipped with a RS-540 Sport Tuned motor, TEU-105BK ESC, Airtronics Blazer Sport Radio and an Onyx 3000mah 7.2v battery pack. She's riding on oil dampers too. The body is a little beat up from all the racing and bashing in my yard over the last ten years. I plan on getting a new body and have a set of 1/10 scale LED fog lights to mount onto the roll bars.

Excellent Pumpkin and nice story. We can hardly imagine what goes on with the guys in places like those. And of course, it's good to know we have one hero with us here in TC!

Due to the story and history involved with this truck this pumpkin is easily my favourite on tamiyaclub. Am willing to bet this pumpkin never gets sold!

Thanks guys! No, I'm never parting with this one as she has too much history and sentimental value
It's super quick for a Pumpkin and a blast to drive. I will get another body for it when the LED lights come in. I have most of the trim but looking to add a chrome rollbar
Crash Cramer
Chrome rollbar, HA, I can do you one better, how about a FULL Chrome bodyset??? Interested, just drop me a line, least an old Air Force guy can do for an Army guy.

Crash, I may have to take you up on that offer. My lights arrive from China in a week or so, so let me check them out first. I'm going to have to do some modding to get them to fit the rollbar but it shouldn't be too hard. And you AF guys get us where we need to go, C-17's are awesome, but still have a soft spot for a 141 or 130 since I've jumped out of them several times
