Very happy I've added one of these to my collection, as soon as I saw this buggy had been released , I knew I had to have one, spurred on even more so by J Weston's excellent example. I would have like to have done mine in my own choice of colour and style, but this one came up on ebay at a very good price, it had been built well and had the added bonus of being built already with bearings, it has the Tamiya Torque Tuned motor which come standard with this kit. I have a some hop-up-options on the way for it which should include High speed gear set/alloy propeller joints,Prop shaft, motor mount and a set of turnbuckles, besides that it needs a 2.4gh handset which was the only thing the car didn't come with. Then after all that I'm gonna run the Hell out of it ;]

Nice job. I get the feeling that these are going to be very popular in time. It looks a natural successor to the DF02. A few of them starting to pop up now for sure.

Good luck! I think these buggies can take a beating, from what I saw when building my cousin's example. Looking forward to some nice pictures afterwards!

A fitting tribute to the Terra Scorcher and among the modern Tamiya buggies, the best looking too!

Thanks for the comments guys, glad you like it, really looking forward to running this one soon, really is one of the nicest looking Tamiya buggies recently released, deff like the cab forward design, the chassis seems pretty tough and sturdy. Looking forward to seeing more of these buggies on Tamiya Club soon. Must get a Vintage original Scorcher soon for the shelf I think ;] cheers again for the good comments

Nice work on the decals, how's the stock shock damping? Just soft enough?

Thank you very much MAD-BEE cant wait to use this its gonna be a runner, its nice but it needs to be used! Taffer the shocks on mine seem ok , I need to run it first to get a better idea might need the damper oil changing at least at the front, but they don't seem to bad, i'll end up replacing them with Alloy variants at some point though ;] cheers again for your comments
