I finally got time to build my Christmas present.

I decided not to go with the stock colours as I like to be different :) I also didn't like the white wheels so I modified them a little with some paint splatting.

I have upgraded the drive shaft to alloy and have installed a Velineon Brushless Power System which I took out of my Traxxas Stampede VXL and fitted a waterproof high speed high power servo.

I have tried the car on 2s and it is really fast! At the weekend I will see if it can handle a 3s

I need to make a tray for the ESC as it is too large for the body unless it is over the central drive shaft but I will do that tonight.

This is going to be my runner\basher buggy for use anywhere :)

Colour works well with the decals, nice to see another variant. Some white CVAs perhaps ?

A very brave move with the paintwork....but I am not sure about it. Black wheels could have been used......

Nice set up though!

Thanks Peeps, I am looking forwards to using it as I am going away for my 40th today. Last night I made a tray to properly and securely fit the huge esc. If anyone knows where I can get black wheels for this model I would be interested as I want to do a black body for this as well

I took this out at the weekend. On the 2s 7.2v battery I was disappointed but on the 3s 11.1v battery this thing is like a crazy rocket car but it still handled really well. First use = Scratched base to chassis and a few paint chips on the fin from a bad landing.

I was disappointed on this after my first use the orange paint flaked off as if it was not ps paint I will be keeping away from the neon paints from now on!
