I'm getting my Team Associated chassis ready for racing in 2 week's time.

Has been an interesting project, as this is my first ever attempt to race with the 'big boys'.

The technology has changed since I was racing my Porsche 959 and Pajero in the mid 80's, so now as a 40 year old, I'm getting my head around what's needed to be competitive in this wonderful new world of RC!

Wow that is some serious kit, I just cant believe how much goes into setting up a car for racing. The engineering and parts are super-trick and the actual set-up and tweak choices are mind boggling. I bet that didnt come cheap either, nice kit.

Yes it's something serious indeed! Now I'm getting to grips with 'toe-in' 'droop' and 'camber'... and that's just the tip of the iceberg!

That was me only a few years ago! Had been away from rc around 15+years, plus never on-road either. I bought some books to help, I'd strongly recommend the Haynes Manual one and the ADH Publishing 'A Beginners guide to.......'. They were the best for what you're doing.

Thanks Smitchos, I'll look in to those books
