I got this quite a few years ago now it was in a average used condition so it took quite a lot of work to get it to this level !
I must have finished this about 2 years ago so its long overdue to join my showroom !

I struggled with the decals on the crash helmet and ended up doing it with a brush and blue enamel paint instead, I found this gave a much better result than the non flexible decals although my free hand does need much more practice (ggetttingg sshhakky hhhands)

Its all original Acoms gear as well and the car works perfectly too ,The paint used was Tamiya TS chrome
yellow I dont remember the number though,TS13 clear went over the top to help seal the decals and to get that nice high gloss all over.
I did a little extra detail at the rear end and to help finish it off I put satin black on the wheels.

Hope you like the result !

Now sold, going to miss this little car :-(

This is lovely buddy . Ya gotta love the detailing on the first tamiya cars. This looks like it just came out of a beatties showroom circa 1982! Excellent work buddy, your attention to detail is outstanding. Straight into my favourites . Cheers. Paul
