Kyosho Dash 1, 1970 Le Mans paint scheme

This is one of my current paint jobs. I am using real car pics to resemble the striped paint scheme of the winning Porsche 917k in Le Mans, 1970. Not finished yet, as I need to wait for the Porsche name stickers....



Before I could apply the red paint, the body went through serious filling and sanding sessions. I added some real vent openings and the engine cooler opening (a ESC cooling fan in fact which will rotate).



The body is an original Kyosho Dash I body made from GFK (Glass Fibre) and is pretty heavy.
