Clod Buster hits Mousehold Heath
Another one of my regrets was selling the Yellow Clod Buster I had with hop ups fitted. I've been after one for a while to tackle the swamps in Mousehold Heath. Out the blue my mate TC member Xray Mark who lives locally sent me a pic of his new toy which was a Clod Buster. I had to have it and picked it up early the following morning to reduce the temptation of him breaking the model in the meantime lol. To make the model look more scale I remembered I had a Dingo shell sitting in the loft. Finally took the model out today for our monthly meet and had a blast. I can see why they had a Economy switch running 1000 NiCad batteries in the 80's. I was running a 6800 Nimah and still only got 30 minutes run time in Power mode. As the confidence grew I started doing jumps with the last one clearing a 20ft ledge. Luckily it landed on its wheels with just a broken front bumper. Once again a dog took exception to the model lol. Thanks again to my Austrian daughter taking the pics

I was just looking at my runner clod today thinking would body would suit it, and i think yours has just made my mind up. looks great and your one looks to have stood up well to a good run today too. Great pics.

That body looks great on a Clod!
Reminds me of taking my Clod camping, my late Uncle had a pair of German Shepherds, they did not like Clod at all.
The twin Sapphire motors were not fast enough. Had to replace 3 tires after they got a hold of it. Good times!

Thanks for the comments. I couldn't believe it was virtually the same dimensions as the Clod shell. Doubt I would have done jumps running the factory shell as the roll cage with lights would not have lasted 5 minutes.

Now we're talking..... looks great, loving the dingo shell on that chassis..
Reading the description above we can tell you had a real blast..

Thanks again for the comments. Yep there is no room on the shelf for these lol. Have to put mine in the spare room. Had so much fun I am taking it out again with the guys this Sunday. Undecided whether to bling this one up. Tempted to lock the Diffs and fit uprated motors but don't want to reduce the battery duration.

Picture 4 and 7 are awesome!!!!! Looks like it was a lot of fun. Not sure if that particular dog loves it? Looks like he was to chew it up.

I had to leave my dogs at home as they are a nightmare biting tyres. Luckily the owner of that dog called it off before taking a chunk out of the model.
