Nichimo Spirit FF [SOLD]
This is a used car from 1986, one of the first complete production kit FRONT wheel drive 1:10 buggies back in the days. It's a rare car, you don't see these very often for sale. I bought this October 2010 for USD 160 + 20 shipping from ebay/US.
It is in fairly good condition. It's complete with all electronics.
AFAIK the only thing missing is the front anti-roll bar and mount.
The only damage I can see is a cracked rear receiver battery housing, which should be easy to fix.
The driver head and headlights need to be painted and mounted.
I have a set of repro decals from Tamkyo. The body is painted on the outside but it looks pretty good. If I want I could strip the paint and add the decals for an original look.
The tires are in very good condition. Not much wear and not dried out/cracked.
After a small restoration this should make for a very nice shelf queen. Wish I had the box - the box art of this thing is very cool, looks so badass! :-)
Thx for looking!
Sold 22. april 2014 for USD 80 + 59 shipping to a guy with a norwegian name in the US. Now I really gotta stop using auctions and rather use 'buy now', loosing a lot here! :-)

Nice looking example and some interesting chassis designs in there.

Cool buggy and I totally agree with you on the box art. Are they a decent performer?
SHY69
Thx! I have no idea as to performance. But it does look quite worn and fragile, I for sure wouldn't run thin one

Great find, they are atypical. They are very rare and a must for the 80's RC collectors. if you can find the 4WDS Exceed too, you will not regret Here is my nichimo collection here : [Click here] & [Click here] & [Click here]

Very cool car and nice score!...I think the FF's FWD is a very unique feature. I'm partial to the Exceed myself as I can remember them high on the shelf at my LHC in the 80's so I bought two a while ago that I'll make one good occasional runner out of.

A very interesting design! These Nichimo buggies look great!
I would have to try it SHY69! Just a light run to see how its FWD works!
Could be a very loose back end...but lots of fun!
Love that feelin lucky! very cool!
