Finished restoration today, to bad gearcases couldn't be repaired, so i had to use the reissued one. I didn't repaint, its the 30 year old paint, its a Rough Rider afterall! And this way i like em. ty for looking, cheers Bram
Great looking rough riider! One of the best I've seen. Really glad you left it in it's original paint that's how it was built and that's how it should stay! Nice job
Wonderful detail, and loving the dark finish. Well done
Fantastic! I too am a big fan of collecting kits that have a 'history' to show. Just seeing someone's eyes light up when you show them a model that was raced 20+ years ago and is now a pampered part of your collection is priceless, you can't always get that with a NIB imho.
Great job, the buggy looks great, it's almost hard to believe it's original paint.
Looks great - nice and authentic. You can never have too many of these
Respect for leaving the paint, its something I love about old RC cars. Old paint jobs develop a different tone over the years that you just cant get out of a can. It gives a feeling of nostalgia and history; SRBs seem to have this by the bucket loads. Very nice
