A childhood dream realised

I wanted one of these since I first saw one. Got this one from a fellow TC member, thanks to djp780 for a fair price and a great transaction. This one just needed finishing, paint, decals and radio gear, which i thought would be simple ... haha, never done such a complex shape hard body before, rubbing back with so many edges was a nightmare. Also it was hard to decide how many of the decals to apply and even the manual isn't sure what colour to do it. I decided to copy the lp500r as seen in 'real car ref' since it seems the only real car that uses the bendy lines and it also matches all the kyosho diecast models. That left me with many spare unused decals but I love the finished article. I rebuilt the chassis and added a battery, radio gear because she will be run ! ... with the 30 year old manual speed controller :-) ... a shame the front windscreen is cracked, anyone got a spare ?
