I just finished building my cr-01 chassis and couldn't resist trying the blackfoot body to see how it looks. The result is that I now must get myself another blackfoot body, because this looks so nice!

If you plan to run that lovely truck you better get some Parma Blackfoot body in lexan for it.

Thanks for that excellent tip Mongoose! I Do have the land cruiser body that i will use for running. I can't afford to destroy the Blackfoot body.

Great idea. But then again, I guess everything looks awesome with a Blackfoot body

True true..

that does look good! people knock the cr-01 chassis because it doesn't have the flexibility of the axial crawlers but you can't put a cool body on a axial chassis and have it look that good and I see you put the 4ws on it! excellent chassis and cooool body well done!!

Thanks moffman! The first thing i thought of when i saw how good this looks, was why didn't Tamiya Do this, since they still keeping the Blackfoot name alive, they should most defently have done this. I think it would have been a hit. I Do want a axial crawler, but i also like the Land Cruiser so much that i decided to get the cr-01. I think this chassis will be good enough for me.

That looks brilliant! I'd shorten the wheelbase by two holes and then 'she'll be right.

Just excellent. I agree, this is definitely a kit Tamiya should have done. The chassis looks amazing with this body. Well done sir!

Now that's what I call a Super Blackfoot! Not the crappy ones Tamiya released more than a decade back. A more fitting way to keep the legendary name alive!

Sunnyjai totally agree with you, this would absolutly keep the Blackfoot name alive... It's setteld then, i will get myself another Blackfoot body

I happen to have a nip Parma Ford truck body in case you are interested, but I think the postage could cost more than asking your local hobby shop to order you one. I can't think of a better use of a wonderfully done up vintage paintscheme Blackfoot body to go on, it looks really good on this and we ought to pull this post as the Tamiya spys are looking into making this happen for real now. Actually, I think we ought to bombard Tamiya Japan to make this kit, all they have to do is take your photos here and print a decal for the box art since they don't draw anymore and viola, done, CR01 Blackfoot, DONE DEAL>

Thanks Crash, i think i will try to find a tamiya body first.
I wouldn't go after tamiya if they want to use these pictures for box art :-P
Fingers crossed that they sometime in the future will release this one. If they ever make a CR02 chassis, they should use the Blackfoot body to get attention on their new chassis release, as long as it looks as good as this :-p

I've come back to look at this. This must be the most appropriate expression of what the Blackfoot should look like. C'mon Tamiya Co, give us this truck!!

I think it is time to petition Tamiya to build this, it is the right thing to do.

Thanks mate @ Tamiya Era. I would say that if tamiya ever saw these pictures they would surely understand that it would be the right thing to do, Crash Cramer.

Thanks JennyMo and Binbin. I have been running the car for some time now, and if I'm to keep the Blackfoot body i need to dropp the magnetic bodymount system and use bodyposts.
