I never know what 58--- number to list this model under.....

Last instalment of my converted M03L BMW Mini Cooper chassis with Rover/94 Monte Carlo bodied Cooper-Racing Mini!!!

I got my smaller tyres fitted, they are still too big IMO, even though I had to chop out some more of this most beautiful body for the wheels to steer.... ouchy! I even had to round-off the edges of the treads to give a liitle more clearance. What a geek, but I believe it has a more 'classic racer' look now, ahem.

More chrome detailing, some light stickerage, and some scuffs from some running with the Sport tuned (since seized, and replaced with the stock 540 now).

This car is lovely, I love it, it is the Mini I knew and loved as a boy (my first two cars were Minis), and Tamiya have done it proud with their Lexan shell - the detail is still amazing!

This toy gets a place in the boot of the new family clunker, oh yes. It is a blast in the supermarket car park. Thank you for your time, now back to play---

1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 Wheels were tooo big, damn it! Now sorted! Top shot. Shiny.

Whoa, look at all those angles, man, a shiny top means you haven't flipped it over, good driving. I am still trying to figure out if those lines all along the side is light reflecting off the lexan body or if it is maybe some 'rubbing is racing' marks as seen in photo 9.
I tell you one thing, if this pulled up along side me at a stop light, I wouldn't even try, it still just looks too badddasss to me.

Thanks chaps.
I still hanker after a full size Mini, but where we live is 4x4 territory... not even a Mini Moke would manage!

@Ccramer: no rubbing or scrapes yet, just some bumpage on the front and rear. My kitchen is too small for club race events.
Later I will post photos of the eventual rollover !!
