Egress A Final Win - Castle Hill Vintage Festival 2014
Had great weekend just past at the Castle Hill Vintage Festival 2014. Came in 2nd place in 2wd Open with my RC10 Worlds Car and 4th overall in 4wd Open with my Egress. That 4th entailed winning the first A Final run after qualifying 5th. A picture of the Car in the pits before being dusted up and video to boot! Enjoy Egress fans!

Yep, Dave Kilroy and I had an epic battle all day in 2wd Open! I seemed to be able to just sneak through on the final corner in each of the finals!

What a great line-up of cars. Looks like you guys had an awesome time. Being looking at having a similar vintage meet here in New Zealand but need to draft up some class rules. Are the rules you guys are running under available anywhere online?

Check out the forum on RC Tech for rules and the event in general! Best race meet ever!

Well done, and such a great line up of cars - good to see them being used for what they were designed for.

Congrats on your placement...wish I had even remotely close to that success at my first recent racing event. It looks like an awesome event and great pics too. @Type49rs: the vintage offroad nationals I just attended here in the USA uses IFMAR rules which seem to work well.

You could save yourselves the trouble and just fly over for the next one in 2015

Flying over from NZ would lift the event to 'International' status! DJ Kilroy flys over from Perth. NZ is closer!
