Holiday Hammers!
This model started out life as a regular 2010 Holiday Buggy but after fitting a 3500kv brushless system the body didn't last very long. It then sat laid up for a while waiting for me to decide what body to put on it. Eventually I saw Rob (IBIFTKH) fit a Vaterra Twin Hammers cage to a DT-02 and I immediately knew that I had to build one also. While not as aesthetically pleasing as Rob's one the overall effect is the same and I think it's turned out really well.
It's fitted with Yeah Racing shocks, carbon front shock tower brace, Carson wheel & tyre set, Tamiya Super Stock RZ motor, Hobbywing Quicrun 1060WP ESC, 2.4GHz radio and runs on 2S LiPo. It's very quick and handles really well!

Very nice! I really like this concept on the DT02 chassis. Looks great.

nice job! just needs some panels making for the lower sections so it hides the electrics

Nice job Steve. It looks like a real no-frills racer, it has everything it needs and absolutely nothing else. Lean and mean. Willy looks right at home too

Thanks chaps, especially you Rob for the inspiration in the first place and of course the excellently painted Willy. No frills racer is exactly what I was going for too, this is all about go, not show! Kinda the ultimate basher buggy if that makes sense?
