im almost finished my ford ranger quite an easy one to do to be honest! just need the electrics (motor, speed controller, servo's etc) not sure to use the manual or esc im thinking manual controller? new tyres & wheels were in order because the originals have had it (age) I know it has a blackfoot windscreen and the number plate is not the original one but they will do for now until I find the correct items or they re-re it! it was like all srb's fun to do the roll bar that the body sits on was quite bent which pushed the body so it didn't fit in line with the wheels so bending it back was a bit nervie coz its another part which is unique to the ranger!. still got to give sgt barnes my motor to re-condition il pop it in the post on my day off!, it took a few coats of gloss to bring the colour back to life and I was going to remove the repo decals but to be honest they are very good and im very happy with the finish (for a 35 year old model its not bad imo!)

That looks as sharp as a tack. Very nice and as far as the last photo goes, the SC and Ranger steal the show in their not box art way. I would be head over heels if my Ranger looked this good.

thanks guys for the good comments! im not a box art person when it comes to my builds crash cramer but I do think the scorcher cry's out to be done in the box art colour other wise I like to do things just a little different!

my rough rider is in my loft out the way until I finish the ranger because im soooo bad for taking bits off other buggies to finish other ones! so its out of reach to stop me my scorcher almost became a donor so its been sitting at my folks house im that bad!!!

Good idea, I better stop robbing other models to finish others.

That brings back memories. It looks great and I had forgotton how big the shell is. It must have been at least half as big as me when I had one. No wonder I was so impressed.
