Ok guys, this is my last attempt at posting this mod I made. My build thread and my last showroom post were pulled.

I had a very detailed description of how all of this was designed and installed but i'll keep it short as to I just don't have the energy to completely re-write everything over and over again.

Tail lights were copied from the factory units available from Ford in '53-'56 and designed in cad. I had them 3D printed and then removed the horrible original ones on my tail gate and installed these. They are clear so that they can be illuminated from the inside of the truck.

Very beautifully finished Pumpkin. Ive had that happen to me where Ive written loads and it vanishes!. I now select the text and CMD C to copy it, then if it crashes you can re paste it. Also just put a couple of photos on, then when its safely there edit the post and upload the rest of the photos. Love to see some more shots.

Don't understand why your previous efforts were pulled BUT your Pumpkin is the business very clever light mod.

Well, at least these photos speak a 1000 words. The last few shots answered my question on how they look lit up and are those red LEDs or is your paint that thick it came out red. I wonder if there would be a way a person could adhere chrome tape to these, but they look so curved and complicated, that could be a bit hard. Is there a plastic Shapeways offers that is transparant red and then a person would just paint the back as they wished (I might go for black) and the script in another color???? Just questions. I hear you on the deletion, seems a bit *****y, but you could just save all that text in MS Office or the like and then import it over to the forum or over at Tamiya101 or Tamiyabase. Meh.

love the lights, and the wheelie bar where is it from did look for something a bit better than the original wheelie bar and couldn't find anything except home made stuff?

Thanks guys. I just hated the old ones and felt that the truck needed lights that reflected its good looks.
@SP- the wheelie bar was from eBay. It is awesome and is still on there for sale.

Thanks it's a tad expensive I've spent loads of late on RC's but it's in my watch list now

@SpZero - Yeah I hear you. I spent a while looking at it but then I started to build a new (old) Pumpkin out of spares and discovered that the only thing I didn't have was the stinking wheelie bar! That made me say oh well, I might as well snag one.
