My 58072 Avante, bought this a few weeks ago, it was in a bit of a state, no real damage, just very dirty. I stripped and cleaned it, then rebuilt it as you can see.

I've never had an Avante before, as I worked on it I realised some of the front end parts weren't original, but I rebuilt it as it was. Seeing as it used to be a racer it's in reasonable condition, the body is rough but I like it as it has character, wheels aren't original, powered by the Parma Cyclone it came with rather than a Technigold so it won't grace any shelves, but it's ok for a runner. :) Comments welcome.

Cleaned up nicely wes, all you need to do now is source some wheels and a body and you have a perfect Original


as Tamiya Era said when one of these pop up on TC after some hard work I get a good feeling too

Thanks for the comments guys! Gotta love an original Avante, Can you imagine the designer popping into the tamiya boardroom in the 80's saying 'I've got an idea'...
