This is one of the longest projects I have ever done. I've been working with it, on and off for 3 years. It's a Bruiser chassis with modified Tamiya tractor truck axels on leaf springs. RC4WD R2 gearbox with dig, modified not to dig, but to be 2WD/4WD selectable. 1.55 wheels and tires. There is a Servonaut esc, Servonaut light control and a Benedini sound module. Body is made from two Clod Buster Chevy C10 body's, and a lot of styrene. Paint code was lifted from an actual Suburban.

What a masterpiece. That looks great and the wheels are just perfect. What brand are they? If this were white and a bit lower to the ground, it would be one of the last two Subs my dad had for work, his very last one was white again and 4X4, but no 454.

Thank you. The wheels are made by: Gear Head RC, 1.55 ENK. Tires are from: RC4WD, Mickey Thompson 1.55 Baja MTZ. Tires are too narrow for the ENK's, so I had to get eight, cut them down the offset middle and glue them back together as four wide once. It took me a year too work up the courage to potentially ruin eight wheels... luckily all of them turned out great. Stock they fit nicely on the RC4WD landy and whitespokes wheels. I got them all from rpphobby.com

My uncle used to have one in this color. It was a 6.2 diesel , but I found the 454 badge from RC4WD during the build, so I thought why not, it was probably the most hard core one back in the day.

Thanks for that info and I can feel your pain on cutting up very nice wheels like that. Seems you have done the job just right.
