Kyosho Ultima Sideways [SOLD]

Released in 1990 this was a special version made for the American market. They love their dirt oval racing over there! :-) It's also called a 'sprint car'.

This was an ebay find back in november 2011. I paid USD 70 + 40 shipping. I'm not really a Kyosho fan, but we needed an Ultima for a RC car exhibition at the Technical Museum in Oslo. And I really found this more interesting than the std Ultima.

The car is old & worn, but it has bucket loads of patina and charm.

It's painted on the outside, but it does give it a lot of character.

It came with an extra set of wheels and a front wing (there's no mount for it).

Sold in february 2015 for USD 99 + 56 shipping.
