Hi all,

after a long time of neglecting Tamiya and collecting Kyoshos I finally thought it was time again for nice Tamiya based project. Some of you might remember my two previous Group C chassis based Muscle Cars, the Cuda and the 67 Vette.

Now, I always had a soft spot for the classic Mustang Fastback and I love the HPI '66 Mustang shell. But only a few days ago, I stumbled over one of those really rare Tamiya Street Devil chassis with the even rarer than rare chrome wheels on eBay.
I convinced the seller to accept my low price offer, as it had no tyres and the two pics were really bad. Well, it turned out the chassis was just really dusty and like new underneath! And the chrome rims were immaculate! :D
So I only had to order fresh tyres and the Mustang shell, which of course had to be finished Shelby style! I really like the outcome, although the wheelbase doesn't match 100%. But its only visible directly from the side.

So here she is, hope you like her, too! :-)

Very sharp looking stang. I really like the stance and rear wheel/tire combo to fill out the wheel wells!
