This is my pride and joy Dogfighter RPS SE. Although when it came to me it was in pretty bad state. I purchased it from the US and it took a while to arrive. When it did I had to replace quite a lot of parts with new/old parts. Saying that it was not so easy. As most of you guys know parts for this car are almost impossible to find nowadays. After almost a year of looking around the net I was able to find the missing parts from a fellow RC Enthusiast in Australia. He was kind enough to sale me the rare fibre glass chassis, bumper and rear shocks. I still need the front shocks to complete her, so if anyone has one please msg me :). I have added a rare Vintage Yokomo Motor which I think suites the chassis very well. Also I decided to leave the shell clear as its the only way to show off that fantastic looking chassis. There is some super glue left on one or two tires so will be heading down to my local DIY shop to get some super glue remover, other than that Im happy how she has turned up and definitely one that sits on the top shelf of my display. Here is some details of the Car:

1986 Dog Fighter RPS SE
Fiberglass Chassis with small black bumper
New body and new roll bar
Improved shocks
05R stock motor
New RPS tires made by Pro-line with 1.75' yellow wheels
SE10 Standard Kit
SE11 Deluxe Kit (with NMB bearings)

the one and only Dogfighter RPS SE Came in bad condition Some info on the SE spec

Wow that is something!! I can't think of any time I would ever like to see a body painted when it shows off such sex appeal being clear, so you have my vote to keep it 'X-Ray'. I do wonder what the speed control looks like after that endorsement on the last pic.
It has been my experience that an older product called Jet De-Solv is the best super glue remover. I have tried a 'newer' brand, only to have some residue issues as well as some plating was removed from a wheel, I can see you won't have that issue, but the residue might be unwanted, so if you can track down the Jet brand, I think you will be happy. They still make it, just not as commonly found. I think if you have an LHS that deals in more airplane building, they will carry the Jet brand of glues and such.
I bet you can build another car with all the spare left over, should you find the completer parts, so maybe a runner Dogfighter is in the works??
