Re-completing the set!
As can be seen from my showroom I am partial to a Thudershot chassis buggy (Terra Scorcher being my personal favourite). I did have one original Fire Dragon but I never really like it much so sold it on after restoring it. I spotted this re-release chassis on ebay in a poor state and missing it's body and chassis cover. Thankfully there are still a few new old stock body sets about, so I purchased one and gave the chassis an overhaul. I decided to change to look slightly by fitting gold Hotshot wheels. I though that they work great on a red Hotshot so why not on a red Fire Dragon? I am really happy with the way it looks. I feel the narrower front wheels help make the buggy look more sleek. Also without the hole for the resister the body is less fussy and I personally think it looks great!

A nice restoration and a good alternative wheel and tyre set

Gold HotShot wheels are like Frank's Red Hot Sauce, I put that )('& on everything. I agree they spruce it up nicely. Didn't they make gold plated TShot wheels?? I know the tires are probably the harder thing to find being that off size.

Thanks folks! I do have some gold TShot wheels but prefer the thinner front wheels of the Hotshot style.
