Izumi Mach Line X-12

What's this? Well, this is basically an Izumi Mach Line X-12. A rare 1/12 scale japanese glow engine RC car from late the 70s. The chassis was lightly used and needed a good clean. The difficult part of the project was to fit the mechanics and electronics under the spectacular and sleek Shiden '77 body (taken from 1/12 Phoenix Herculy). The '77 Mooncraft Shiden Race car is quite unknown here but was very popular in Japan back then. Power comes from an OS Max 10. Exhaust gases leave through a Speed Built stinger. And the radio gear is period Cox Sanwa.
