A rare for me eBay bargain £32 inc delivery!
Dirty, but in reasonable shape with just the nose cone missing and the usual scuffs and scratches.
Sounds like a 1 owner model not touched since the mid 90's.
I don't need another model or project in anyway shape or form, but I like these and I should have all that I need already to make it a decent runner.
Projects are time consuming and disproportionally expensive imo, by the time you've done tyres, ESC, stickers and a few broken or missing parts.
I've definetly got wheels, tyres, windows, nose cone, motors, ESC's and bearing, otherwise I would have just sprung for new kit @£110.
I like this chassis for its simplicity and handling characteristics, even though it is ancient.

Those back tyres look like they've seen some action! Cool vintage classic, bargain for that money. Well done!

Nice catch Grumps! That chassis looks like it will clean up real good. 'Have fun with the body - it looks like it has heaps of potential.

Great rescue, it is always good to hear another orphan car has been refreshed and turned loose on the public.

Lucky for you those orange nose cones are crazy cheap! In fact, if anyone needs the chrome bits or other body parts for their Monster Beetle or Sand Scorcher, definitely look for the Blitzer Beetle part number instead - usually cost a lot less! For reasons unknown to man.

Great find, pretty easy to run the rear tires off these as I recall
