Flea market Astute
My friend found this for me at a flea market several years ago and I finally decided to clean her recently. Car had a few broken parts, wrong shocks on the rear but the biggest issue was all the corrosion and seized parts. Cleaned everything up and installed full bearings including the 36 for the suspension pivots! Got newer black cva shocks, rear tires and I had some spiked front tires that I installed. Still need a repro body, decals and possibly a more stock looking front tire in the future.

Thanks, it's going on the shelf. I'm more into building and restoring right now, I've got quite a few more cars waiting for their turn!

Looks great in yellow and I could have a dig around for some aftermarket 1.9 tires on the front that are not that spiky. It is a crying shame that Tamiya made so few of those spare and they cost more than the car to find and buy. What a labor of love this looks like.

Crash Cramer- yeah not many 2wd drive cars came with spike front tires but theres some crp tires that look more like the originals that I might try.
