I picked this beast up really cheaply. The motor and carb were both seized, but got it sorted and running.


I found replacement starter gears at a local hobby shop, much to my and the owners surprise, so its all fixed, I found that the previous owner had pulled the starter gearbox apart and replaced the rubber bushes with copper tube, so will order some new rubber. Apart from a tune up its all going well.

Pretty cool for $40AUS!


**UPDATE**


I managed to not set up the fail safe, and had it run in to a wall at a fair pace. Only damage was a stripped spur gear and some bent cooling fins.

New spur gear now fitted, fail safe now set up correctly, I just need to get it running again and test it out :)

Hi Thommo, if I can sort the starter out I'd like the chance to run this thing at a track, I got it going around my front garden and it goes really well!
