Audi A4 DTM

Another vehicle for my series of Touring cars. This particular model is not from Tamiya. In fact I don't know who is the manufacturer. I got a deal with a colleague a the work place. He got it years ago, and it was purchased at an Audi dealer showroom. It comes in RTR format with 27Mhz Tx, and all necessary elements for driving it directly from the box, even a 1800 mAh NiMh battery pack, alltogether inside a grey box with AUDI GmbH logo. The chassis is similar to TT01 but steering servo saver is funny, is a spring connecting servo with steering levers. The body is factory painted lexan with livery included, so no stickers at all. The quality of the Lexan is good, allthough level of details, specially in terms of livery, and lights simulations, is not as good as Tamiya. My colleague is a heavy smoker, so I can tell you that the car smell like a chimney when I got it out of the box. Now, after week of ventilation, thorough cleaning and shell washing, it's finally exposed in one of my shelves, allthough it had his bridal ride (second wedding) days ago.
